At CompoCycles we have developed a unique process to recover glass and carbon fibers from composite material in an economically viable way. Techniques tried in the Composites Laboratory of the School of Engineering of São Carlos of the University of Sao Paulo.
Our recycling process is completely environmentally friendly, yielding fibers with 95% of their original mechanical properties, which increase to 98% after the application of the CompoCycles post-recycling treatments.
Companies that need to dispose of excess carbon fiber and glass fiber reinforced polymers can turn to CompoCycles for recycling solutions. Our process allows the recycling of composite waste that accumulates from large-scale valuable structures such as planes, boats and wind turbine blades.
At CompoCycles, we continue the circular economy of composite materials by recycling them into reusable components.
We apply new technologies to solve the world's pressing environmental challenges. Our processes complete the circular economy system for composite materials and minimize future carbon emissions.
